We have designed and built project management training that is real world and pragmatic. This incorporates methods, processes and tools that we have developed to project manage projects that we are involved with. We use these on real projects and then train others how to use them.

As such, we have developed tools and techniques that take a lot of the stress out of project management.
One of the most useful techniques we have developed is the Right Track Workshop.
We are the Society of Local Government Managers’ (SOLGM) preferred trainer for project management. SOLGM’s members are staff at councils throughout New Zealand.

This was my very first foray into the world of professional Project Management, having lead only volunteer projects in the past. I was thrilled to learn that I have been doing things correctly in the volunteer sphere and that the professional world is not so different after all.

As someone who knew nothing about project management, the first day was a challenge and it was not until I did the practical PM plan that I understood the content. Day 2 was good to consolidate and learn from others' PM plans.

Course and delivery are really good. NB: Having already been on a course run by Frank my expectations were high - didn't disappoint, hence rating above met my expectations.
The topics covered can be related to our current environment. Principles discussed were usable and gave more confidence.
I need to remember this was an introductory course and doesn't fulfill every project management requirement.

You create a great learning environment, and are encouraging of discussion topics. Incorporating our real projects was a bonus as well.
Very practical course, with some of the techniques being used in the office already. Spreadsheets will be a great help.
