We have designed and built project management training that is real world and pragmatic. This incorporates methods, processes and tools that we have developed to project manage projects that we are involved with. We use these on real projects and then train others how to use them.
The main goal is Less Stress – More Success.
A leading expert in the world on the topic of stress (Dr Dereck Rogers) taught us that stress does two things:
As such, we have developed tools and techniques that take a lot of the stress out of project management.
One of the most useful techniques we have developed is the Right Track Workshop.
We are the Society of Local Government Managers’ (SOLGM) preferred trainer for project management. SOLGM’s members are staff at councils throughout New Zealand.

Coming to do a course like this, you always consider the possibility that it is going to be a waste of time… or boring!! This course was neither of these. Having never done PM before, I now feel like I could run a project with ease.

This was my very first foray into the world of professional Project Management, having lead only volunteer projects in the past. I was thrilled to learn that I have been doing things correctly in the volunteer sphere and that the professional world is not so different after all.
Very informative but in a fun way
Even though it was rushed it was a great course with some great information. I usually go to sleep during this type of presentation however I was kept interested right throughout the course and therefore awake.

I do realise that we were given the trimmed down version due to time constraints - perhaps the full workshop would have taken the topics to the full conclusions that I was hoping for.

Good course, Frank is a very engaging trainer and made it interesting. For me it was more of a refresher but I think it was really useful for my manager to hear key messages, as I was surprised by the lack of project management since joining NCC 3 months ago.

Frank created an easy, friendly environment where all suggestions/ideas were considered and everyone was able to participate. All sessions flowed nicely and each built on what we had learned in the previous sessions. Constant recapping meant all that was learnt will stick much easier. After Day 1, I was utterly and completely lost - for a variety of reasons - But Day 2 has been much better . Some participants would need 5 days to take in content (I needed more than 2 days)

The topics covered can be related to our current environment. Principles discussed were usable and gave more confidence.
