Frank has a huge background in negotiation. He has negotiated over 300 commercial contracts over 20 years.
His negotiating career started with Shell New Zealand. He was then the Contracts Manager for Transpower for three years, where he negotiated contracts 3 or 4 days a week.
Frank attended some very good training in negotiation over a number of years and got lots of chances to put it into practice.
He then purchased a cassette tape on the psychology of negotiating and wore it out during a block of 100 contracts where he listened to it before every contract until the concepts became second nature.
Frank passes on these skills in negotiation training. We haven’t seen anyone else training the psychology of negotiation in New Zealand.
